ANGRMS' General Meetings will now be 7-10 pm bimonthly, generally on the THIRD Friday starting with February (subject to room availability. See the most recent DRB for details. While ANGRMS normally uses a steam train for its open days, operational requirements occasionally require the use of heritage diesels or other power. For example, Bundy #5 is currently out of service for repairs and heritage diesels will operate the trains until mid- to end-2014. ANGRMS locomotives, rolling stock and other facilities are occasionally used for film, television and multimedia productions. Potential clients must realise, however, that all tourist and heritage railways operate under state and national rail safety regulations, and some requests may not be feasible. Contact sales @ angrms.org.au or PO Box 1135, Woodford, Qld 4514 with any proposals. |
Welcome to ANGRMS and its services, including The Woodford Railway which we operate at Woodford, Queensland. Our steam locomotives are currently (July 2017) undergoing necessary repair/overhaul so our operations feature our heritage diesels. On this site you'll find a short profile of the Society, details of our open days, photographs and information on our collection, the latest news of Society activities, sales, bridal train and industry information, links to other sites of interest, and an open invitation for you to visit ANGRMS one Sunday at our steam site in Margaret Street, Woodford.
